This week has gone by really fast, and i have been wasting away my days with my new obsession with pokemon. The classes have been really easy this week since i don’t have any exams and this weekend is dads weekend. My dad is going to come up and were going to see the comedian Nick Offerman. The walking dead also had a new episode last Sunday which was surprisingly boring.
This past week was better than I expected it to be. This weekend almost every single person in my mod went home so it was just me and two other people. It was actually pretty nice though. We just got to relax for once instead of dealing with all the craziness of my mod mates. We just watched movies and played catch with a frisbee. It was actually a pretty awesome weekend.
So far i have had a good week. I can not wait for my dad to come on Saturday! I feel like I haven’t seen him in soooooo long. From what I hear dads weekend can get pretty wild haha. I’m also counting down the days to Thanksgiving break. I can’t wait to get home and spend some time with my family. I just want to eat a good home cooked meal! Its so weird that first semester is already starting to wrap up. I feel like this year is going by soo fast!
This past week was a good one, despite being sick and finding out I have to get my tonsils out! HallOUween was insane! I have to admit the way everyone was talking I thought all you had to do was walk past a cop and you would get arrested, so I was extremely nervous at first. Once the weekend began though it wasn’t bad at all and I had so much fun! I did pretty well on my history exam, so I’m glad that’s out of the way. My brother is coming home from Afghanistan within the next two weeks so that was the highlight of my weekend, finding that out. I was a bumble bee for Halloween so we all know what a bumble bee looks like but I’d rather post a picture of my brother because I haven’t seen him in forever and I’m just so pumped he’s finally coming home from Afghanistan!
I was a jellyfish for halloween. Not much to say about that. I did get a lot of compliments on it though! Granted, a lot of those compliments were groups of people shouting “JELLYFIIIISH” from balconies or front porches, I was still flattered. My first HallOUween was really fun though, seeing the parade and everyone’s costumes (which were REALLY creative sometimes. or offensive. or both) was one of my favorite parts of the night. I can’t wait for next year so I can out-do myself.
I’ll be going home on Thursday for my birthday (it’s on Friday! I’ll be 19) to have a relaxing weekend, so you won’t see me until Monday! Have a good weekend everyone!!!
Hello again to you folks from week something of living here at college. I am currently sitting in bed, if you were wondering. Yes, I live life on the edge, folks.
I’m out of things to say at this juncture, folks, other than the fact that I’m also out of money but can’t seem to stop spending it on things I don’t need, like bags of candy corn and water and tampons. Whoops did I just say that out loud? Its fine, I don’t really care what you folks think of me.
Yes, I’m hilarious. Lucky for you I’ll be around all year, folks. In fact, some folks have asked me to perform comedy, to which I replied, “Do I seem like the type of folk to try to make folks like you laugh? Sorry, folks, but I’m just not that kind of folk.”
See you folks next week, folks.
God that’s annoying.
This week and weekend has been a blast. Although I didn’t do as well on my History test that I had planned, I still improved my grade from the last test.
I had a friend from back home come down for the weekend and a lot of my other friends were down visiting as well. It was nice to see a lot of friends down here. Court Street was so packed, I didn’t expect it! I was kind of annoyed with all the rules for the dorms, although I know why the put them into place.
This week isn’t really busy, I don’t have a lot of homework to do or anything. I did get a job though with Kids on Campus which makes me pretty excited because I love kids.
Happy actual Halloween 🙂
